The Baltimore Frassati Fellowship (“Frassati”) is a Catholic fellowship for graduate students and young adults in their 20s and 30s in the Baltimore area. Under the direction of the Dominican friars at Saints Philip and James Catholic Church, Frassati hosts monthly holy hours with praise and worship, preaching, adoration, confession, and a coffee hour. Frassati also hosts service projects, social gatherings, and other events designed to orient us toward our Lord.
We invite you to become active in Frassati and begin building up God’s Kingdom in Baltimore by setting hearts on fire for our Lord!
This is the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship’s main event, "Frassati Night" is held at 7:00pm on the third Saturday of each month at Saints Philip and James Church in Charles Village. The night consists of Eucharistic adoration with benediction, and the option for confession, followed by a time of socialization afterwards.
Every Sunday after the 10:30 Mass, Frassati meets in the Newman Center or church courtyard (weather permitting) for coffee hour, with a full brunch on the first Sunday of the month. All young adults are welcome to join!
Frassati also hosts weekend social events every other month to grow in fellowship and community.
Some fun things we have done include hikes with Mass on a mountaintop, outdoor field days, and game nights.
Frassati also hosts a wide variety of events to study the Faith from book clubs, to Bible studies, to movie nights and discussion.
Our group’s name honors Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati (1901-1925), a member of the Dominican laity whose ministry and spirituality were centered on the Eucharist and helping the poor. His prayer life was driven by a great love of Jesus and Mary, and centered on a call to action - a simple commitment to change the world radically - one act of charity at a time.
