Called by the Spirit?

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

  • Are you interested in becoming Catholic?

  • Do you know someone who is?

  • Are you an adult Catholic who has not been confirmed?

  • Just want to learn more about the Catholic Faith or have questions about it?

RCIA is the process for preparing adults for full communion with the Catholic Church.  Catholic adults in need of the Sacrament of Confirmation should also attend RCIA classes at the church for instruction and preparation.  Catholic adults returning to their faith or simply wanting to learn more may also attend classes. RCIA classes at Saints Philip and James are open to anyone interested in exploring Catholicism.

New classes run from September through Easter and are arranged to accommodate both holiday and university schedules.  Late enquirers are welcome but those requiring preparation for full communion in the Catholic Church or any Sacraments of Initiation (i.e., Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation) may be asked to wait until the following year to ensure adequate time for instruction.

Don't delay!  Please contact Ron Meyers by email or at the Parish Office if you or someone you know may be interested.

YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE MATTERS!

WELCOME TO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!
